Branson Top of the Rock Dec 2025
Thank you CVS for selling this postcard!
I love sending postcards and delight in them being places I have actually seen. A postcard was the beacon to a delightful afternoon at Top of the Rock! What a visual feast and the brunch was to die for! Also part of a return trip to Branson in the future!
It's $10 to get to the visitor center
Loved the tree here too!
The animals delighted me!
I let out a howl when I saw this wolf!
The majestic Moose
The elegant Elk
And the dear Deer!
Found it!
The church didn't open for tours for hours but we could admire it from a balcony outside the Osage restaurant
Beautiful sculptures paying tribute to the American Indians
These tusks!!
Look at those feet!!!
This American Lion was a new prehistoric beast. Imagine this lion native to America! Those are some murder mittens!
Here is an another prehistoric beast!
This bear is ferocious as a skeleton and would have terrified me in real life!
All of them together. I can imagine this prehistoric savannah where they would fight for food and prey on each other. So harsh!
This glass top display was a peek to the museum below - a must for my next visit! I love museums
There were examples of cave drawings all around the display. I could see these on a cave wall- messages from our prehistoric ancestors trying to communicate
On the other side of lobby is another restaurant. It was closed but open for wandering about. This was decorated for Christmas too and had an elegant rustic cabin vibe
Something about this tree spoke to me. I think it's one of the prettiest Christmas trees I have ever seen. I thought it was real and had to go and feel the branches to see!
The lamp decor made me so happy! I would love super tall ceilings to have the space for this exact tree!
Just perfect to look at and the view!
This spectacular catch hangs over the bar. It's almost unbelievable how huge this is!
How on earth was this massive fish caught in Australia and hauled in?
Jack Nicklaus caught this goliath Marlin in 1978!
Look at this catch!
Another Christmas tree I loved- acorn ornaments
This is the greeting as you walk into the Osage restaurant - the stained glass birds are a work of art!
Blue Jays - they look like they are sitting on the tree branches!
Delightful!
Goldfinches!
The tables were artwork too!
The place settings!! Oh my!
The silverware looked like bark covering tree trunks!
On my plate is the remains of flambé crepes. I will dream about these and will skip with joy back to this brunch buffet for more! Tamar Chelsea and I had a delightful time with abundant good food, stunning views and great conversation!
Thank you God for friends that will find where a church on a postcard is!
This was one of five buffet stations around the restaurant!
My view during brunch
More views
Next time I want to go to this Buffalo bar area and see this up close
The map on the ceiling was another piece of art! Plus the light fixtures
Wolves with a little howl
And eagles standing watch
There were sculptures everywhere - it was like an art museum
A grizzly guards the restaurant entrance
A tribute to the American Indian warriors and America hangs behind the front desk
This green behind me is a golf course! Top of the Rock
Next time I will tour the church and admire the view from the edge in person!
More art outside
I imagine this is a noble warrior planning his hunt
More nativity! Triple love
Also love the patriotism!
I'm
The best smelling bathroom EVER and great signs!

Until next time top of the rock!
You are top rate time in my book and will absolutely recommend a visit ... again and again!
