Branson Silver Dollar City Christmas 2025





I love Amusement Parks and Silver Dollar City has been on my wishlist to visit for years. Christmas 2025 the stars aligned and I went with a few friends MN, IA, KS and AR represented! It has become a desired Christmas tradition. I need to come back in 2026 to ride the rides and see the regular shows! I loved Christmas and will look forward to regular season fun too!  
Enjoy the sparkle of SDC at Christmas and 6 and a half million lights!!! This is the best Christ centered Christmas celebration! Add it to your list if you love Christmas🌲❤️



Branson at Christmas helped me shine brighter 


Imagine the magic in my hand at the entrance for Silver Dollar City! 


I adore this old time Christmas! 


This plaque is a reminder of America's liberty and freedom. Celebrating Christmas with a focus on Christ reminds me of that Revolutionary freedom 


This tree is a descendant of an original Liberty tree from the Revolutionary Patriots! I loved seeing this!

I adored the chalk paint signs on the walkways directing us to the opera house for the first show!


First thing we did was see the 
Charles Dickens Christmas show in a packed audience 


Gorgeous set! 


Fabulous cast - the ghost of Christmas present was played by the girl in the red coat in front and she was hilarious!

We rode the train and there was a charming story about the nativity and birth of Christ told by grandpa!

The next day at Silver Dollar City was full of new delights! A bluegrasss band, cinnamon bread, a couple rides, more friends, shows including a live nativity and Glory to God reminders all around! 


Homestead Pickers is a delightful bluegrass band 


They play in a tiny homestead cabin and it's so cozy!


Look at the charming wreath welcoming visitors to come and listen to tales of life as only blue grass can tell it!


There are decorations on the mantel and a lamp 


This quartet is filled with talents and they play many instruments and sing many tunes 


Banjos, Mandolins, Guitars he plays them all 


This wood painting of Jesus hanging on the wall  is striking 


They have a glassblowing shop with demonstrations and they makes delightful things! This snowman is amazing 


These flowers make a lovely window garden

Saturday, June 7, 2025  will forever have a glow in my memory - quite literally. That morning, the alarm rang painfully early, but with good reason. We were up and on the road by 4:30 AM , leaving the cozy Stargazer trailer in Valle, Arizona, behind us to chase something spectacular: sunrise at Mather Point in Grand Canyon National Park . As we started our journey to the canyon, Venus shimmered brightly in the sky like a guidepost for dreamers. There was just a whisper of orange along the horizon, hinting at the sun’s slow, steady rise. My heart thumped with anticipation. This was my first time at the South Rim National Park part of the canyon. The journey felt like a pilgrimage. As we entered the park, sunlight began to filter softly through the evergreens, casting gentle shadows on the winding road. Chicago mini golf Fun 2025

We happened upon a super fun Chicago-themed mini golf course in Maggy Daley Park today. We love playing mini golf! The sun was shining and there was a light breeze. Perfect golfing conditions!  Three balls and three different personalities! Love this perfect trio for us!  Yellow Heather  White Nick  Green Wyatt Nick took the lead!  Chicago Cubs hole !  Loved this classic Chicago themed hole! We took on the Willis Tower formally known as Sears Tower! We all tried to get it into the basket.... no luck. We got close but not quite  Need a White Sox hole too  I love this Chicago sculpture and was delighted it was the 14the hole in this course  and it was a bit tricky!  It was like pinball!  This was a fun way to create excitement for a non-themed hoke  Wyatt almost got it in kicking rather than putting! Nick used his opposite hand and I closed my eyes!  The L train hole ! This was tricky!  The Chicago dog hole ! ...
